Abyssinian oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the plant. Native to the Mediterranean region and especially to the highlands of Africa, it has unique medicinal properties.
Comparable to Jojoba oil, Abyssinian oil is rich in unsaturated long-chain fatty acids Ω-6 and Ω-9 (erucic acid).
It penetrates the outer layers of the skin, deeply nourishes and moisturizes providing a soft layer of protection against dehydration. Abyssinian oil enhances the elasticity of the skin, leading to the filling of wrinkles and fine lines. Providing a silky texture and high coatability, it is recommended as a natural alternative to silicones. In addition, it gives shine and softness to the hair.Being an excellent solvent, it is widely used in color cosmetics where it enhances the dispersion of colors and pigments.
Recommended for skin moisturizing products, scalp and hair protection applications, after-sun care products and color cosmetics (compressed powders and lip products).
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place away from children.
