Ivy oil is obtained by extracting the leaves of the plant in vegetable oil. Native to Western, Central and Southern Europe it has multiple benefits. Its main active ingredients are saponins such as Hederacoside C, which are responsible for the vasoconstrictor and antibacterial properties of the plant, caffeic acid which provides anti-inflammatory and slimming properties. In addition, ivy oil is known to increase microcirculation thus reducing dark circles, bags under the eyes, cellulite and the symptoms of tired feet.
