Tamanu oil is obtained by cold pressing the seeds of the plant. Native to the tropical regions of the Pacific and Indian Ocean islands, it provides many medicinal properties.
Extremely rich in fatty acids and unsaponified, it has been shown to offer anti-aging and moisturizing properties to skin cells. It consists of two main fatty acids, oleic acid (Ω-9) and linoleic acid (Ω-6) which give nutritional properties and elasticity to the skin. The unsaponified fraction consists mainly of sterols, tocopherols and tocotrienols, which stimulate and regenerate cells. In addition, Tamanu contains a unique fatty acid (Calophyllic Acid) which is responsible for the regenerative and healing properties of the oil.
Recommended for anti-wrinkle applications, for hydrating dehydrated / sensitive skin, for healing (in case of burns, wounds, scars), and for soothing the skin after sun exposure.
Storage: Store in a dry and cool place away from children.
